Don and Jan moved to Grandy in the early 1980s. They lived just west of Einar and Shirley Feldheim.

I met them about a year and a half before my dad, Einar, died in December 1999. Don was always the 'Tool Guy' for me. He could build anything with anything. Always the builder and always ready to help a neighbor.

Don died on October 8th. I will not be the only neighbor who will miss him.
